You know what makes Waiheke extraordinary. You’ve walked the stunning clifftop tracks, bathed in the ancient native bush amazed at the vibrant birdlife, and revelled in the sweeping coastal views that make this island truly world-class. We are at a pivotal moment.
Building on our first 10 years, The Waiheke Walking Trust is embarking on our most ambitious phase yet – creating a spectacular walking network across the island connecting experiences, wineries, artists, distilleries and restaurants, working with like-minded property owners and making things happen in a way that hasn’t been possible in the past.
To achieve this, we need the support of visionary patrons.
We are now inviting a passionate group of islanders and Waiheke supporters to join our Patron Programme — and to play a direct role in shaping the future of walking and cycling on this island, for now and for future generations.
